  • Join band! Any child that played an instrument in 4th or 5th grade band is already signed up! Anyone that did not play in band last year but would like to join should contact nmoore@lockportschools.net (grade 5) or tmartin@lockportschools.net (grade 6) with an email or parent note. We will then help your child choose an instrument that is best suited for him/her and follow up with appropriate information.

  • Parents: All kids entering 7th, 8th and 12th grade for the 2017-18 school year must have the meningococcal vaccine. Without it, they can’t start school! For a complete list in immunizations needed for 6th grade please read the parent letter!

District Announcements

  • This updated statement is being released by the Lockport City School District to confirm that an individual was diagnosed with viral meningitis at Charles Upson Elementary School. This form of meningitis is not contagious and should cause no form of risk to other students or staff. In any case, if an individual feels ill, they should always contact their doctor. We appreciate your understanding that health related matters are protected under Federal Privacy Laws (FERPA and HIPPA). As a precautionary measure Open House was cancelled on Thursday, September 14 and is scheduled for Thursday, September 28th.
