School Climate Surveys

  • The U.S. Department of Education School Climate Surveys are typically administered in the fall of a given school year. This year we will be conducting them in June due to the unusual nature of the 2020-2021 school year; they will only be conducted at Emmet Belknap and Aaron Mossell. There are four surveys in total: for students, for parents, for instructional staff, and for non-instructionsl staff. Copies of all the surveys can be found below. Survey takers are completely anonymous and the results of these surveys will be posted on the District Data webpage once they are received (this year we expect them in July or August). Survey responses are used by the District to set important goals, drive planning and instruction, select activities and programs, and make sound financial decisions - all with the intention of meeting the needs of our students, families, and staff.

If, upon review of the student survey, you do not want your child to participate in taking the survey please complete the Opt Out Letter for your child's school below. The letter only has to be returned if you do not want your child to take the survey. Please take note of the due date to return the Opt Out Letter.
