School Climate Surveys

  • The U.S. Department of Education School Climate Surveys are typically administered in November of a given school year. This year we will be conducting them at each school for children in grades 3 through 12, school faculty and staff, and parents. There are five surveys in total: one for grade 3 and 4 students, one for grade 5 through 12 students, one for parents, one for instructional faculty, and one for non-instructional staff. Copies of all the surveys can be found below. Survey takers are completely anonymous and the results of these surveys will be posted on the District Data webpage once they are received (typically in December or January). Survey responses are used by the District to set important goals, drive planning and instruction, select activities and programs, and make sound financial decisions - all with the intention of meeting the needs of our students, families, and staff.

If, upon review of the student survey, you do not want your child to participate in taking the survey please complete the Opt Out Letter for your child's school below. The letter only has to be returned if you do not want your child to take the survey. Please take note of the due date to return the Opt Out Letter.
