In addition to the current Regents and Advanced Regents diplomas offered, students who meet specific NYS Regents exam score requirements will now be eligible to receive an Honors designation. Students must earn an average of 90% or better on the five state exams required to earn a NYS Regents diploma with Honors designation, or an average of 90% or better on the seven/eight exams required to earn a NYS Advanced Regents diploma with Honors designation.

The diploma designations that we are now required by NYS to offer are as follows:

1) New York State Regents diploma

2) New York State Regents diploma with Honors designation – earned by achieving an average of 90% or better on the five exams required by NYS

3) New York State Advanced Regents diploma

4) New York State Advanced Regents diploma with Honors designation –earned by achieving an average of 90% or better on the seven/eight exams required by NYS

The criteria for being named a Lockport High School Honor Graduate remains the same. A student must carry a cumulative weighted average of 90% without rounding or better at the end of the third quarter of the student’s senior year.
