There are four vocal groups open to LHS Students- Mixed Chorus, Concert Choir, Women's Chorus, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Mixed Chorus is open to 9-12th graders, no audition required. Concert Choir, Women's Chorus, and Vocal Jazz are auditioned groups, open to students in grades 10-12. Anybody can learn to sing, and anyone who is willing to commit to the clear and attainable expectations of the LHS choral program is welcomed. Within the program, students must learn to become self-aware of their individual strengths and weaknesses; this empowers them to become active learners who are self-motivated to grow. Every student entering the program should be able to envision a four-year path filled with opportunities for musical growth, service, and leadership. Choir should leave a positive imprint on their lives. Students with any questions can visit Room #111.
