  • Class of 2022 Senior Photos will be taken May 17-21, 2021. Please use SignUpGenius to select a time. Tux and Drape photos will be taken this year along with an additional 2 poses. There is no fee for the session and proofs will be emailed to your parent/guardian's email address given in the signup.   • GodspellLockport High School proudly presents "Godspell" (2012 Revised Version) on Friday, June 4 at 7PM, Saturday, June 5 at 7PM, and Sunday, June 6 at 2PM. The performance will be held in the Lockport High School Visual and Performing Arts Center with a limited in-person audience, following NYS guidelines.   • The Lockport City School District will offer a VIRTUAL Summer Extended Learning Program for LHS/LHSWest students who have not achieved a passing grade in their courses during the 2020-2021 school year. Students are only permitted to register for classes they have previously taken and not completed successfully. Students must earn a minimum of 50% in their classes during the school year in order to be eligible to attend the extended learning program. Timely registration is imperative as there will be a limited number of course offerings and a limited number of seats available. Registration information will be shared in June.

    • July 19 - August 12: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
      • Session 1: 9:15AM-9:45AM
      • Session 2: 10AM-10:30AM
      • Session 3: 10:45AM-11:15AM

  • Lions! Virtual Academic Intervention Service. VIRTUAL AIS (study and homework help) is available through Google Meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-3:45pm. Teachers will be available for students that need extra help. Students will join the Google Meet through subject-based google meet codes located in their grade level Google Classrooms. Subjects include English, Social Studies, Math, and Science.

  • Read the 2021-2022 Budget and School Board Election Edition newsletter for budget and voting/election information.

    Budget Vote and School Board Election is Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Noon to 9PM. You must be registered with the Niagara County Board of Elections to vote on the school budget and school board member positions. Registration deadline is May 9, 2021. If you are not sure that you registered to vote, please visit the Voter Information Portal or call 716-478-4828. Voters who are not registered may register with the Board of Elections by filing an online application with the Department of Motor Vehicles. Each of the three (3) at-large Elected Board of Education Members shall each serve a three (3) year term commencing on or about July 1, 2021. The candidates are:

  • Effective Monday, May 3, 2021, Students in grades PreK-4 (JP, AM, CU, GS, and RBK) will operate in a four day in-person instructional model. Some students will remain in a full remote instructional model. Remote Wednesdays will remain in the schedule and be used for synchronous and asynchronous learning. Students in grades 5-12 (LHS, LHSWCC, NPJHS, and EBIS) will continue in the two day in-person hybrid instructional model with a continuation also of the 100% remote learning instructional model option.

  • Lockport High School track and tennis courts and the Emmet Belknap Intermediate School track are open for public use from dawn to dusk, during non-school hours, or when not in use by Lockport City School District athletic teams. Playgrounds remain closed pending review of recommended COVID-19 guidelines.
