Confirmed COVID-19 Case: LHS Update 10/14/2020

After working collaboratively and consulting with the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) and Lockport City School District Physician Dr. William Baier, and executing an enhanced cleaning plan at Lockport High School, it has been determined that in-person instruction will resume at Lockport High School on Thursday, October 15, 2020. Students enrolled in the BOCES CTE program will attend class on Thursday, and LHS athletics will resume on Thursday.

Please continue to practice social distancing, wear a face covering, wash your hands frequently, and monitor your health regularly. As a reminder, COVID-19 symptoms include:

  1. Fever or chills
  2. Cough
  3. Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  4. Fatigue
  5. Muscle or body aches
  6. Headache
  7. New loss of taste or smell
  8. Sore throat
  9. Congestion or runny nose
  10. Nausea or vomiting
  11. Diarrhea

If you begin to experience any of the above symptoms, please stay home and call your medical provider.

If you are having any of the following symptoms, you should seek immediate medical attention:

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
  • New confusion or inability to wake or stay awake
  • Bluish lips or face
