Confirmed COVID-19 Cases: LHS, LHSW, NP, AM, GS, RBK 5/3/2021

The Lockport City School District (LCSD) was notified of eight (8) positive COVID-19 cases. The breakdown is as follows:

With Contacts

North Park Junior High School... two (2) cases confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with contacts based on the individuals' schedules on the last day in the building.

George Southard Elementary School... one (1) case confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with a contact based on the individual's schedule on the last day in the building.

North Park Junior High School will shift to full remote for all students and staff on May 4, 2021.

George Southard Elementary School will operate as scheduled with the four day in-person instructional model for staff and students on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 except for the class directly impacted. The principal will follow up with a call to the parents of that class directly.

With No Contacts

Lockport High School... two (2) cases confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with no contacts based on the individuals' schedules on the last day in the building.

Lockport High West at Charlotte Cross... one (1) positive case with no contacts based on the individual's schedule on the last day in the building.

Anna Merritt Elementary School... one (1) case confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with no contacts based on the individual's schedule on the last day in the building.

Roy B. Kelley Elementary School... one (1) case confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with no contacts based on the individual's schedule on the last day in the building.

Lockport High School and Lockport High School West at Charlotte Cross will operate as scheduled with the in-person hybrid model of instruction on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Anna Merritt Elementary School and Roy B. Kelley Elementary School will operate as scheduled with the four day in-person instructional model for staff and students on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

The custodial staff will continue to follow cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear a face covering, wash your hands frequently, and monitor your health regularly.
