Confirmed COVID-19 Cases: LHS, EB, RBK and CU 4/20/2021

The Lockport City School District (LCSD) was notified of seven (7) positive COVID-19 cases. The breakdown is as follows:
  • Lockport High School...two (2) positive cases confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with no exposure to staff or students based on the individuals' last day in the building.
  • Lockport High School...two (2) positive cases with no exposure to staff or students based on the individuals' last day in the building.
  • Emmet Belknap Intermediate School...one (1) positive case confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with no exposure to staff or students based on the individual's last day in the building.
  • Roy B. Kelley Elementary School...one (1) positive case confirmed by the Niagara County Department of Health (NCDOH) with no exposure to staff or students based on the individual's last day in the building.
  • Charles Upson Elementary School...one (1) positive case reported to the District with the District in the process of determining if there are contacts with staff or students based on the individual's last day in the building.
Lockport High School, Emmet Belknap Intermediate School, Roy B. Kelley Elementary School and Charles Upson Elementary School will operate as scheduled in the full remote model of instruction on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 and as scheduled with the in-person hybrid model of instruction on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
 
The custodial staff in all buildings will continue to follow cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Please continue to practice social distancing, wear a face covering, wash your hands frequently, and monitor your health regularly.
