Continuity of Learning #2
For the remainder of the academic year we will continue to provide weekly, online learning experiences on the Learning at Home section of the District’s website or through the mobile app. Families are encouraged to contact their teachers directly with questions or for additional feedback on student performance with the learning at home activities. In addition to academics all students could benefit from adequate rest, exploring creative tasks, performing physical activity, engaging in acts of kindness, and assisting with household chores. Parents should continue to monitor their child’s work at home on a daily basis and use the following as a recommendation:
- Grade K-6 students - 90 minutes/day of academic work
- Grade 7-12 students - 2 hours/day of academic work
Last day of remote learning for Grades K-8 and LHS West is Thursday, June 11. Last day of remote learning for LHS is Friday, June 12.
