Students Presenting COVID-19 Symptoms
Per the Niagara County Department of Health, any student presenting with any symptoms of COVID-19 must be evaluated by a medical professional and secure a negative COVID test, documented in writing and submitted to the school nurse, prior to returning to school. Parents/legal guardians may not refuse to seek medical evaluation and/or a COVID test if they would like to return to school. Students who are ill may be authorized to continue to work remotely after review by school administration.
If your child was diagnosed with illness other than COVID, the following conditions must be met in order to return to school: Medical evaluation and completed documentation by physician, negative COVID test result (documented in writing), and your child has been fever free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
