US POSTMARK FINAL FOR BOTH DATES. If received after the due date and does not bear a postmark date prior to the due date a penalty must be added and collected. No school official or employee can waive the penalty per NYS law.
If you initiate an online bill payment from your personal checking account/banking institution, the date of receipt has NO guarantee. As the envelope does not bear a postmarked date. Additional fees/penalties will be your responsibility. If you use your online banking system, please allow 14 business days for processing.
City of Lockport school taxes not paid by October 31, 2025 are turned over to the City of Lockport for payment.
Town of Lockport, Cambria & Pendleton school taxes not paid by October 31, 2025 will be turned over to the Niagara County Real Property Office for payment of county tax bills in January.
