Emmet Belknap is just finishing up their winter diagnostic assessments in ELA and Math. This data board shows that our learners are growing! We have less "yellows and reds" and more "greens". In some cases, our "green" numbers have doubled since September! Our attendance is improving as well. Keep up the great work Emmet Belknap students and staff!

Last week at Aaron Mossell JHS was full of school spirit and big smiles! From Olympic celebrations to penguin & polar bear day and a totally rad 80’s day, our students and staff showed up and showed out.

Last week, George Southard Elementary School marked a proud milestone with its first LION Leader Recognition Ceremony 🦁
LION stands for Leadership, Integrity, Optimism, and Neighborly. These values were on full display as student strengths were celebrated and families saw the meaningful work happening every day in our classrooms. This was a powerful start to a new tradition rooted in connection and pride. Way to go, GS LIONS!

Mrs. McNall’s students at Charles Upson Elementary made Stone Soup to go along with the story Stone Soup that they read in the Benchmark Advance reading program. Mrs. Cain, a retired Lockport kindergarten teacher brought in all of the ingredients and the students each got to help by adding something! They learned that if you share and work together, everyone will have something!

This weekend, talented students from AMJHS and LHS took part in All-County Festival I at Barker Jr./Sr. High School. After December auditions, several AMJHS and LHS students were selected to perform with the Junior High All-County Chorus, showcasing their hard work and dedication.

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King believed education plays a critical role in shaping a more just and inclusive society. That belief guides our ongoing commitment to creating welcoming, affirming environments where every student feels valued and respected. When students know they belong, they are better prepared to learn, grow, and lead.
We honor Dr. King’s legacy by continuing this work...today and every day.
