Fourth graders in Mrs. Szucs’ class at Charles Upson completed the new Benchmark Curriculum Nature Unit 1 by going outside to complete their own culminating writing activities about similes and metaphors in our beautiful outdoor Upson courtyard.

🖐️✨ Mrs. Cacicia's first-grade class at Charles Upson brought science to life with a fun and creative lesson about bones! Students traced their hands, drew their bones, and filled them in with oil pastels to create stunning "x-ray" art. They also built models of the human skeleton, learning how bones support and protect our bodies. What a fantastic way to explore anatomy through art!
Our incredible third-grade teachers are diving into Unit 2 of our new reading program, Benchmark, getting ready for their eager learners! With careful planning, they’re creating engaging lessons that will make this unit both exciting and impactful. We can’t wait to see our students shine! #LockportLovesLiteracy #WeAllBelong
