We have several important opportunities coming up for Emmet Belknap families to stay informed, get involved, and support student success—both during the school day and beyond. Below is a look at what’s happening this month and into next.

📅 Family Information Session: CSI Overview

Wednesday, January 14, 2026
9:30–10:30 AM or 5:00–6:00 PM
EB Library

Families are invited to attend a Family Information Session focused on Emmet Belknap’s Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) designation and the work underway to support all students.

During this session, families will learn:

  • What CSI means for our school

  • How instruction and student supports are being strengthened

  • The additional resources available to support student growth

  • Ways families can partner with the school

Both sessions will cover the same information. Families are encouraged to attend the time that works best for them.

✏️ Scholar Hour: After-School Academic Support

We are excited to continue offering Scholar Hour, a small-group afterschool program designed to provide students with additional academic support in a positive, encouraging environment.

Scholar Hour focuses on:

  • Reinforcing skills in core subject areas

  • Building confidence and strong learning habits

  • Supporting students who may benefit from extra time and guidance

Students are invited to participate based on individual needs, and families of invited students will receive direct communication with additional details.

The deadline to confirm attendance to this program is January 21, 2026. If your child was chosen to partipate, you should have received information sent home the week of January 5, 2026. If your child was not selected but you feel they would benefit from Scholar Hour, please reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher, school counselor, or the Main Office to learn more.
