We are excited to share a new resource designed to help you support your child’s literacy growth at home! As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping families informed and involved in their child’s education, the Lockport City School District will be launching a Literacy Newsletter.
This newsletter will be sent to all kindergarten, first, and second grade families with each unit of the Benchmark Advance Literacy Program. Each edition will include practical tips, activities, and suggestions for what you can do at home to reinforce the skills your child is learning in the classroom. Many of the activities will include links to videos and other simple tools for easy access and implementation.
