Beginning February 18, 2026, if your child is new to LCSD, you can register your child for the 2026-2027 school year.
To register your child, there are three (3) steps to follow:
Step 1: Choose the type of student you are looking to register.
Kindergarten Students
Universal Pre-Kindergarten Students
General Education Students
Special Education Students
Step 2:
Complete the correct registration packet (above).
All forms are required to be completed prior to your appointment. Forms are available once you choose the type of student you are registering (see links above). If you need a printed version of the form, please contact the Board of Education Office at 716-478-4811.
Step 3:
Call the Board of Education office to set up an appointment for registration.
Registration is by appointment only from 8 am - 12 pm.

Please Note: If you are registering for Kindergarten and your child attends the YWCA UPK program at John Pound, registration is not required. However, you need to update the following documents within the registration packet:
Change of Address Form with two (2) current proofs of residency (if applicable)
Updated custody papers
Completed Emergency Health Form
