🧡 Orange Shirt Day: Every Child Matters

Join the Lockport City School District and Native American Community Services of Erie and Niagara on Wednesday, September 30, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Lockport High School for an evening of remembrance, learning and community.

The event will honor the legacy of the more than 150,000 Indigenous children placed in residential schools and remember the thousands who died. Guided by the principle “Every Child Matters,” the evening will focus on supporting community healing and ending Indigenous oppression.

The evening will include:

• Complimentary dinner

• Film screening and panel discussion (Please note: some topics may be sensitive for young children).

• Live traditional dance and vocal performances

• Community organizations and helpful resources
