Dear Lockport City School District Families,

We are excited to share that beginning this summer, the Lockport City School District will transition to ParentSquare as our new districtwide communication platform.

Over the past two years, we have used Thrillshare’s “Rooms” platform to connect schools and families. Through feedback from teachers, staff, parents/guardians, and district leaders, we identified opportunities to improve consistency, ease of use, reliability, and engagement. After reviewing our communication needs and listening to stakeholder feedback, we selected ParentSquare to strengthen communication and make it easier for families and schools to stay connected.

ParentSquare brings school and classroom communication into one convenient place. Families will receive school updates, emergency notifications, classroom messages, event reminders, and more through email, text message, the mobile app, or a web browser. Messages can also be translated into your preferred language.

No action is needed at this time. Additional information will be shared throughout the summer via email and on our ParentSquare webpage, including how to activate your account and customize your notification preferences. You will continue to receive emails, texts, and phone calls throughout the summer from the Lockport City School District.
