Yesterday, LHS Varsity Head Coach Trait Smith, along with Assistant Coaches and students Brandon Bratek, Jeremy Brown, Scott Stowe, Tre McCutchin, Charles Johnson III and Dallas Kaspernak, represented Lockport at the Section VI meeting at the NEW Highmark Stadium.
A little football at Highmark is a pretty great way to start the season. Go Lions and Go Bills!

Join us for Lace Up Lockport on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lock City Center (2 Locks Plaza), where children can receive new shoes and clothing while supplies last.
Families are welcome to register in advance or simply stop by. Children must be present to receive clothing items and shoes.

Assistant Wrestling Coach Courey Penna and his daughter, Emma, a member of the Lockport High School Varsity Wrestling Team, are partnering with Pin Cancer to raise funds in memory of beloved Coach Bill Morello Sr.

We're collecting new shoes, socks, T-shirts, and underwear on August 1 from 9 a.m. -2 p.m. at the Lock City Center (2 Locks Plaza). If you can't make it then, you can drop off donations at the LCSD Family Empowerment Center, 57 Canal St., Suite 102from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday up until July 30.
Want to receive shoes or clothes for the new school year?
You can pick up clothing and shoes on Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Lock City Center (2 Locks Plaza) while supplies last.

🏈 Calling All Current and Future Lockport Student Athletes and Families!
There has been an important update to the sports physical process.
Beginning immediately, sports physicals must be completed by your student-athlete's Primary Care Physician (PCP) and uploaded to FinalForms for review by our school nursing staff.
✅ If your student completed a valid UBMD sports physical this spring, it will remain valid through the end of the Winter sports season.
Please schedule your appointment early to ensure your student is ready for the upcoming athletic season!

Last week Roy B. Kelley's 4th grade PE classes made yogurt parfaits with Chef Andy from Independent Health. This was an incentive that the school won through our participation in the Independent Health's Fitness for Kids Challenge.
We're excited to announce that the Lockport City School District is transitioning to ParentSquare, our new districtwide communication platform! The spotlight was shining on the Class of 2026 long before they became seniors! In this throwback from Emmet Belknap Intermediate School's production of Annie JR., you'll spot a few familiar faces! Over the years, these students have performed in concerts, musicals, athletic events, classrooms, and countless activities that helped shape their LCSD experience. This production is just one of many memories that remind us how much they've grown.
